You can purchase an adaptor from Reel 3-D that slips on the Realist
flash shoe and has a place to plug in the flash's synch cord. They
charge $18.95 for this. I actually got one from Ron Zakowski for a
little less a while back, and others may sell them as well. I also got
an additional adaptor from a local camera store (National Camera
Exchange) that allows me to use my flash that does not have a synch
cord. The flash slips onto the second adaptor, which slips onto and
plugs into the first adaptor which slips onto the original flash shoe on
the Realist. It sounds unwieldy, but it works for me.  -Linda
