In short - It is an extremely useful tool to mount stereograms - slides and
cards. I had much trouble mounting slides, and I made a mounting jig
to get rid of the irritation. It is made from 2 simple plastic slideviewers
for 24x36 slides - lens focal length 60 mm (should be 50 mm), with build
in light. Total cost 14 $ and 4 hours work on the kitchen table with a knife
and some glue. Everybody can make one. If you like - I will send you
a photograph of the jig - flat or stereo as you like. Just send me a mail.
