Using Albions successfully

So Albion mounts are available for purchase again. Delightful
news! But many of us (relative) mounting newbies have never
learned to use them because of their recent unavailability.
Could some of the experienced folks post some tips on how to
use them successfully?

I have just a few Albions and the couple times I tried to mount
chips in them I got quite frustrated. But then I'm King Klutz. ;)

A few specific points that could use some clarification:

  - Do Albions have a front and a back?
  - What is the best way to get the chips under the darned tabs?
(preferably without making the mount look like a train wreck)
  - Do you place the chips in already oriented for viewing, or put
them in reversed and flip the mount over when done?
  - Is there a way to adjust the window without having to redo the
horizontal, vertical and rotational alignment every time
you touch one chip or the other?
  - Should/must the chips be taped? If so, where?
  - What is the total cost per mount including "finishing" items?

Thanks for the help.

Paul Talbot
