P3D Cleveland Competition

Hi all. I am speaking for a small group of stereographers.....the
equipment handicapped group. I imagine there will be no special point
adjustments, no concessions, no excuses and no sympathy for images shot
with a wounded Realist! With only a couple weeks to go before the next
competition ( without stock images to pull from) I am alone and armed
with a single SLR, little time, poor weather, and no daylight
available.....and must create 3 contending images for the "urban" theme
at the next competition. What are my options? Ask that a former award
winner "pimp out" some shots for rent.....just for an evening.very
discreet of course! Bribe a judge? I don't believe Dr. T needs any
Albion mounts, does he? (dammit,
they are back in production!) Bow out of the competition and suffer the
point losses, with false delusions of making up lost ground next time?
Or I tripod the SLR one rainy evening, mount them in realist mounts and
wing it. (not Paul Wing it, of course....I wish) And I could accept
donations to purchase a new Realist ASAP. Looks like I'll get my
umbrella!
