In the October 15, 1997 copy of Restaurants and Institutions, there
is an article on 3-D Desserts. It is a story about an Ohio based
restaurant chain, that also has a View-Master dessert reel. Damon's
is a 116-unit full-service eatery. The article says the restaurant went
directly to Tyco to produce the reels. The customers just love them
and their dessert business has increased "significantly" since the
View-Masters landed on the tables. The restaurant is planning to
use the toy with other promotions, such as specialty drinks.
