I purchased a 'black film changing bag' for this purpose. If you're
going to do this, I found out that when you load film into a 'normal'
camera, every time you advance the film, film is pulled out of the
cassette. At the end of the roll, you rewind the film back into the
cassette. In a 3D Magic camera, the film is already out of the
cassette, and every time you shoot a picture and advance the film,
you're actually putting the film back into the cassette. So you need
the 'black bag' to pull the film out of the cassette, roll all the film
onto a little spool, and seal the 3D Magic back up.
I've had great results with this, and have used the same "disposable" 3D
Magic numerous times.
One more thing to think about: this camera uses plastic lenses so don't
expect professional quality.
One more thing, be sure to take the AA battery out before loading the
film, if you accidently push the flash button while the camera is open,
you may get zapped from the capacitor storing a charge for the flash.
If you have questions on this, email me directly. It's not a difficult
process to load the camera.
by the way, after I shoot the pictures with the 3D Magic, I take the
film out, take it to a 1 hr photo, and tell them to develop the roll,
not to cut (I do the cutting) and make NO prints. I decide which
negative to send to Image Tech for processing.
Tom.
