I was wondering if anyone could help. . .
I got a TDC 116 projector.  I just used the one at my stereo club for
the first time Thursday night.  I took pictures of the inside and
outside to compare with the one I got.  Since I now have an idea of how
it should be assembled and operated I got mine out to see if I could try
it.  Here are the differences:

The lamps in the club projector (also a TDC 116) sit below the top part
of their little compartments.  My lamps extend above the compartments. 
A club member told me they should not extend.

The club TDC has been rewired.  I was told by two club members that they
must be rewired or they burn out.  Mine has not been rewired but seems
to work as far as turning on and off and the fan works.

I still cannot get those polarizer filters out to replace them with the
new ones I got.  They will not slide out.  Am I supposed to take apart
the frame?

I cannot get the slide carrier in position without scraping the left
side of the carrier.  I can see it has been scraped previously.  It is
as if the inside of the projector is about an 1/8th inch too tight.  I
got a selectron slide carrier with it that I cant get into the projector
at all.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
