The Join the Crew message is a hoax as is the Good Times 
message and a whole slew of others.  Do a search on the 
web before fowarding such 'virus warnings' out to prevent 
unneccessary use of bandwith and unneccessary worry on 
the net.  You'll turn up websites such as this one that 
describes the Join the Crew hoax:
