P3D Misc 3D sitings

In my quest for the perfect Christmas present (alright, any Christmas
presents), I've seen a few 3D items I thought I'd mention.
First, there was the microwave oven (Sanyo maybe?) at our local WalMart
which advertised a "free ImageMagic camera inside". I guess you can take
3D photos of your new microwave and all the food you're making to entice
your relatives.
The next item was in the craft section of our local Garden Ridge store (a
mammoth hobby & craft store). It consisted of two tops (the spinning
kind). One had a red pen and the other a blue/green pen. The kit
included anaglyph glasses, apparently matched to the pens. The object is
to spin the pens on a piece of paper and make 3D spirals. An interesting
concept and I almost bought it just to see what it looked like.
Finally, there was the ImageMagic camera w/o the microwave oven (at a
greatly reduced price!) in the WalMart photo department. A very prominent
sticker on the box exclaimed "Return to WalMart for processing". Further
investigation determined that they then send it out to whoever to have it
processed. Turn around time is (according to the photo girl) "about two
weeks". So, since we have a trip to Disney World coming up soon, I may
try one in addition to my Kodak Stereo and my trusty Konica FT1 mono.
It sounds like stereo is still "alive and well"!
Regards,
Ron
