|>>Thanks to George for polishing the tarnished image (literally) of the
|Projector-or-View. I just cleaned and adjusted the one I bought this
|summer. Now it works great.
|
|This brings up another question. After much cleaning and adjustment my
|Project or View back projects just fine. However I have never been please
|with the light spill that results when it is used in projection mode.
|Sufficient light spills towards the screen to wash out image edges and
|reduce overall crispness. This is especially obvious when it is viewed side
|by side with the regular TDC stereo projector. (I should mention that I
|modified mine to take 500W bulbs so intensity is not part of the equation.)
|
|Anyone have a solution to this part of the performance equuation?
|Thanks
|Mark cmic42@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have a similar problem, but an inelegant solution. I took sheets of
aluminum foil and attached them via masking tape so that I could flip
them down to cover various places where extraneous light was leaking
out (particularly the "extra" slide carrier slot). But as I say,
inelegant...
