P3D World's smallest DVD player

Technology watchers:

Samsung recently announced theire "P-Theater",
the world's smallest portable DVD player. They
expect to ship to the U.S. in the second half of 1998.

The player which is the size of a book and weighs two
pounds, can be used both to view movies on the go
or as an ultra-compact home theater component.

Instead of using a flip-up LCD display, it is designed
for use with a virtual reality-like viewer...similiar to
Virtual i-O's (now Ilixco's) "i-glasses"!

If the product is successful, do you think (as I do)
that lots of people wearing virtual reality viewers
will get us closer to people accepting these viewers
and stereo programming?
