P3D Re: Stereogram, Vol. 2, Issue 4
"Stereogram" vol 2, issue 4, will be mailed tomorrow to members and
subscribers (90% of the subscribers come from photo-3d - Thank you!)
Articles in this issue:
- From the Desk of the President and Editor: Comments on club issues
by "yours truly".
- The Taming of the Compco "500": UK Subscriber (and photo-3d member)
Keith Wilson describes his first experiences in stereo projection.
- Hyperstereos - You can Take Them Too! Basic definitions and
procedures for recording one's first hyperstereos (summary of last
month's workshop)
- Interview with Club Treasurer Ken Mondak: "I don't know what
f-stops are, I don't use a light meter... and I am overwhelmed by
the ability to have fun with this (Stereo Realist) camera... I have
pictures from riding a dirt bike on the Baja 1000 in Mexico, white
water kayaking in the Smokey Mountains, a laser dog fight in Houston
Texas... The Stereo Realist is a great way to present these."
- Another Great 3D Website: Club member Harold Kaiman has been
exploring the web and reports on some interesting stereo Websites
that he found.
The "Stereogram" is the newsletter of the O-hi-O Stereo Photographic
Society. It is published once a month, Sept. to June (10 issues).
Subscription rate for non members is $12/yr. To subscribe, send a
check payable to the OSPS (c/o Ken Mondak, 6801 Brecksville Rd.,
Independence OH 44131). You will receive the first 4 issues right
away and the rest as published every month. Whatever little income is
left after the publication and distribution of the newsletter, goes to
support the operation of the club. Donations are accepted and very
much appreciated!!!
The O-hi-O SPS meets every first Tuesday of the month. Meetings
include programs, workshops and stereo slide competitions. Visitors
are always welcome! Please contact me for directions and details.
Regards, George Themelis - President OSPS
PS. *SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL STEREO CLUB!* - You don't have one? What
the heck are you waiting??? :-) Get moving! We cannot have too
many stereo clubs...
