Yes, the series IV filters are about 20 mm across and slip right in and
are held in place by the existing retaining ring on the Revere without
any adaptor needed. To use the larger Series V filters, you would need
and adaptor which slips over the end of your lens and then has a larger
version of this opening with the retaining ring on the outside, to hold
the unthreaded Series V filters which are about 30 mm across. I have a
pair of Kodak Series V adaptors for my Realist ("20.5 mm", which
corresponds to the diameter of the lens it needs to slip over). I also
have one each in the 28.5 mm and 23.5 mm sizes. I don't know if you can
actually find these at camera stores, or just at used camera swap meets
and such. I believe Sam said you would need the 26 mm size( slip-on) for
the Revere. I doubt that you could find screw-in filters as small as
23mm, that would screw in where the retaining ring normally goes. Is
this starting to make sense yet? A picture might be worth a thousand
rambling emails.... -Linda
