Why "worst possible condition"?
Do you know how often the Project-Or-View was used???
The worst position for the film to be is at the light beam's path. Off
path, it would be like just being in a sunny room (but off direct sun,
I would expect), and only for a few hours (which is about as lot as I
expect the projector to have been used). The rest of the time it was
stored in a dark place.
