I've used the same 5071 film that George does, but for the light
source I use a Spiratone dichroic light source made specifically
for copying (setting the color dials to what correction it says on
the film actually turned out to be the best setting surprisingly
enough).

Now this unit which I bought actually is the ONLY unit I've ever
seen even though I bought it "for a song". So I'm not saying to
go out and get one.

However it really *looks* like an upside-down modified color enlarger light
source.

So if one happens already to have a color enlarger with dichroic-filter
head, then perhaps using it with a piece of diffusing glass would work
nicely as a copy light source.

This gives color correction control and consistancy to the process.

They may also be available cheaply for an old one at camera shows, etc.

Haven't tried it, but seems like it'd work -- and be cheap if one
already had one.
