P3D Lenticular Prints

Hi,

I've just got my first set of prints from my new Image Tech Wizard back.
I'm pretty well pleased on the whole, so thanks to all those who advised
me about which model to go for.

The people I've shown them to have been pretty impressed too, I've even
had one person asking what sort of camera you need for them.

They've got me wondering about the optics of printing these things. Does
the enlarger need some sort of mask or slit aperture to divide the images
into strips, or does the lenticular material take care of that? If the
latter how does making a three image print differ from four, or seven for
that matter?

With extra effort could a normal enlarger be used to print on this stuff?
Not that my colour-blind eyes will ever allow me that luxury anyway. Well
I *could* pretend that I planned the colour casts!

BTW Tony Shapps needent worry about competition, I'm curious rather than
planning anything.
