>One of the replies said, something to the effect, that I don't know much
about 3-D, that my invention is a CROCK, and the person then has the
audacity to literally demand that I provide PROOF of my patent. The
absolutely amazing thing is this person has the unmitigated gall to, not
only, send this as a public post (to the photo-3D listserv) but then says
what he did when he doesn't even know how the hell my invention works!<

The comment about not knowing much about 3D was undoubtedly prompted by the
following quote from the original pitch:

<<I've been very
interested in stereography since the age of 11. When I was that age, I saw
a 3-D movie called "House of Wax" (starring Vincent Price). I remember the
glasses I used were of the transparent, polarized, type. The effect was
quite stunning. Unfortunately, I never got the chance (again) to see
another 3-D movie using that process. Actually, to tell you the truth, I'm
really surprised that this particular technique of 3-D did't catch on and
become more popular as the "3-D" effect was quite amazing!>>

Polaroid didn't catch on?!? For well over half a century it has been far,
far, far and away the most universal and popular form of 3D presentation!
Virtually all slide and movie presentations utilize polaroid projection,
and the vast majority of projected television, video, and computer 3D
presentations are likewise polaroid. I suppose anaglyph would come in
second, but it is a distant second. When someone starts right off with a
jaw-dropping stunner like that, you know that everything that follows must
be taken with a massive grain of salt!
