My summary of a 3d sales pitch is this: I would GLADLY pay $5.95 for any new
concept that displays a perception of depth in a new way, no matter how
basic. I would NOT PAY A CENT for deceptive and misleading advertising. All
a person has to do is be open and honest regarding the product he is
selling, and stand up to criticism by clearing up any misconceptions of his
product.
If he fails to do so, it merely makes people more suspicious, and makes all
criticisms valid. I expect in the recent example maybe 20-30 people have
been saved the embarassment of losing their money. On the other hand,
someone with even the most basic sales and marketing experience, plus a
little intelligence, could have instantly made a substantial profit. Then
comes the future profits through referrals.
I expect that ALL have benefitted from this experience.
My advice to Mr Bill: DO YOUR HOMEWORK !!!
Sam
