I am in Heaven - Part III - Albion, glass, RBT

I am very happy that the Albion mounts are back.  These are the only
currently manufactured aluminum mounts.  They are available from Dalia
Miller and Dennis Sherwood.  I use them in all my slides for preview and
also for mounting in glass or cardboard.  When mounting in glass, cleaning
the glass was always a chore.  Now, this fine glass from Switzerland that
Dennis is importing, is so clean that you can use it right away.  Before
putting the glass on, I recommend the Avery labels that Dennis is carrying.
Finish with aluminum binders (also available from Dennis).  Last night I
remounted and glass-mounted 15 slides from the late 40s, early 50s.  Slides
that I like and treasure.  It took some time but the results justify the
effort.

I still use RBT mounts for projection.  Easy to use, fast, accurate.  Check
