P3D Cable release

Hi!

Several ppl were kind enough to diplomatically inform me that my Realist
*could* in fact accept a standard cable release.

However, this hole, as I can now identify, is straight. Therefore, does
anyone know the size? What's the diameter and thread pitch of the
appropriate release? If I call my local camera store, can we assume that
they will stock only the tapered kind of thread-in release? Can the
straight kind be had from any of the specialized, 3-D sources?
