P3D HELP!

I'm inquiring as to whether anyone has seen the following product
advertised:


A couple of months ago, I was perusing a computer mail-order catalog and I
noticed a 3-d virtual reality helmet that was for sale.  Evidently, this
device works by porting in either composite video (such as from a VCR) or
from a computers video card.  Then, internal to the helmet, there is
digital electronics that processes the signal into 3-d which is displayed
on the lcd tv screen(s) inside the helmet.  


The unique feature was that the video coming in to the helmet was normal
(i.e., not 3-d digtally processed).

It was selling for 400.00 U.S.D.  Another version, with sound, sold for
600.00 U.S.D.

I can't seem to find it anymore in the catalog I originally saw it in.

Can anyone help me?
