Pertaining to problems in metering or not metering, I think the first thing
you must check is whether or not your camera's shutter speed is
accurate -- especially in the case of an "antique" such as the Stereo
Realist. Since my "sunny 16s" weren't properly exposed, I purchased
a Sekonic light meter but found I had the same problem. I guessed that
setting the shutter at 1/100 was giving me 1/200 results, (i.e. under-
exposures) so my solution was just to set the meter, or apply the
Sunny 16 guidelines, at 100 ISO when using 200 ISO film.
Now the exposures are right on!
