P3D 3-D US postage stamp?

While at the post office today, I picked up the official ballot for the new
1950's stamps to be released in May 1999. You may vote for up to 3 subjects
in 5 different catagories. In the Life Style catagory it reads ,"Movies Go
3-D" " Studios began producing 3-D films, and moviegoers donned cardboard
glasses with cellophane lenses to view the special effects". Now I know
what you are thinking. They will make a stamp with a theatre full of people
wearing red/blue glasses, and you are probably right. However, even a
mildly incorrect 3-d stamp would be better than no 3-d stamp at all, and if
the 3-D stamp does win, maybe we can give them some technical advice about
polarising glasses. Now there are 6 options in each catagory, and only one
in each catagory will be selected ( I think) so get out there to the post
office and fill out the ballot for the 3-D stamp. The other general
catagories are People & Events, Arts & Entertainment, Sports, and Science &
Technology (which includes "Transistor radio created"( Ya hear that Jon
Golden)). Entrees must be postmaked by Feb 28.1998, and the winning
subjects will be announced 6 weeks after the vote has ended....Mike
