|with the overhead projector did not work very well (I was not told why, I
|suspect the colors did not transfer very well and the overhead projector
|builds up contrast and spills out a lot of light) I wonder if one of these
|units that project directly the image of the computer screen, might have
|worked better. Has anyone tried it?

Yes - A number of years ago I was in charge of researching (then) current
products in acquiring a couple of LCD active matrix overhead projecter
panels. I ended up specing a couple of N-View panels (rated at 65K colors)
specifically because A) they were both Mac and PC compatible and B) I
did some anaglyph tests and they produced reasonable results. Light spill
is/was a problem, but for anaglyph it wasn't bad. I bought 50 pair of
red/cyan glasses from Reel3d to use for larger audiences...a *projector*
vs a *panel* is probably how I'd go today...

THANKS
