P3D Those who can't see stereo. Revisited

A few months ago when the thread about those who don't see stereo was
current, I posted a story about my young intern, Michael who has strabismus
and because of this he can't see any form of stereography. I sat him at the
Aeroquipt Stereo Theater and had him use the interoccular adjustment, and
Eureka!! the boy saw his first stereo image. This was a wonderful and
admittedly moving moment for me. He was so happy. So elated. Recently,
Michael asked me to see more slides, so of course I rushed him to my house
and sat him at the Stereo Theatre and let him play. He must have used the
teen-age "awwwwwsome" sixty or seventy times. He then asked me if he could
do the same with a View Master. I balked. He's well familiar with my VM
Personal, and has assisted me in reel mounting (a hell of a thing for a
radio station intern to do). He said, "I wanna see the 3-D pictures of
me!!" He's right. He really ought to. We all have tons of VM red viewers
as sacrificial lambs strewn about. Is there a way one might be modified for
inter-occular adjustment so that Michael and those like him can enjoy the
wonders that we might sometimes take for granted? Given the small VM film
chip, I can't figure how to do this. I want very much to do this for him.
I appeal to the more erudite faction of hackers (hey, that's everybody) for
help and advice. Much advance thanks.
