I'm not clear on what you mean by  "Land pictures", but I'm equally hard
pressed to see how you could expect to get blue from red and green. Clearly,
you can get blue from red and cyan, or green and magenta, or any primary and
it's secondary. Red and blue are commonly used because they filter a nearly
equivalent amount of 'white' light energy.
