What you need is a "Hot Shoe Adapter", available from Porter's (#13-0336,
$12.95) or possibly camera stores, camera shows, etc. This little gadget
provides PC cord connection to flashes lacking PC cord terminal, like
yours.
Here is how you use it: Slide the flash to the shoe of this adapter
and connect the PC cord to Reel 3-D's adapter which goes in the Realist.
If you want to keep the flash on the camera then you will have two adapters
underneath it.
Sounds complicated? Then just do what I have done: File off the bump
from the Realist and you can mount your flash directly with zero adapters.
Some people hesitate to operate on their $125 Realist but I see it as
a matter of convenience. The camera is there to take pictures and any
modification that makes it easier to take pictures is a good one. You
can even call this "a feature" and charge more when you resell the Realist.
