Congratulations on getting into an interesting form of 3D.

I would recommend that you rush right out with a 2D camera (disposable, if
you don't have one), and shoot a roll of your own 3D pictures, then get them
commercially processed (1-hour processing if you're *really* in a hurry),
then make some stereo cards. It's virtually guaranteed that the first batch
won't be perfect, but it will be fun, and quick, and you'll have some cards
you can enjoy, and start learning how to make them better (and also how to
approach some of the more "advanced techniques").

(I noticed from another post that you have a lenticular camera, and you
may have succeeded in explaining to the camera store manager how to make
separate prints from the negatives. If that works, you can skip the 2D
camera suggestion for now - though you may want to try that in the future.)
