P3D Kodak Stereo shutter cleaning

I've seen that there are several schools of thought regarding the best
way to remedy a slowing shutter on a Kodak Stereo Camera. (I've seen
the articles at the Rocky Mountain Memories website.) I was wondering
if there are any new ideas or any concensus on what the best approach
is. My Kodak seems to slow down and get erratic when I don't use it for
awhile. I'm not sure that tripping the shutter repeatedly is going to
bring it fully back this time, and I'm beginning to think I'd feel
better about the camera if I took care of the shutter properly.

Also, is there someone who does this sort of work and is recommended?

Thanks for the help,

Jim Thomas
