Well, sort of. As I mentioned in my last post, polarization is
inherit in LCS glasses but Imax was clever enough to cross polarize,
in case the LCS system failed (Michael Kaplan reported) and/or to
enhance the LCS system.

In normal LCS glasses the polarization is not cross oriented.
