As processing becomes easier, this idea becomes more feasible, but it still
has the one major drawback that it requires lateral movement -- it just
corrects for whichever direction that movement takes, unlike traditional
Pulfiich. It still remains true that the vast majority of movie scenes not
shot specifically for Pulfrich don't have strong lateral movement. So if,
say, 5% of a movie might trigger an accidental 3D effect with Pulfrich
glasses, perhaps 10% of it would using this system. Not a great pay-out for
such a lot of electronic labor.
