**** I care, for technical reasons - it's a relatively easy simple step
with far reaching positive impact for stereo 3D in general.
For real reasons - knowledge of negative impact production decisions because
of a lack of cross platform support in DC.
For general reasons, broader stereo acceptance and use depends in part on
generally available means of delivery to the customer base, not just for one
person's material or project, but in general for any project or any
technical system. Any decision that impedes progress in that direction is or
could be important to a person who claims to promote stereo 3D. That should
by default include persons whose business rides on the growth of the entire
industry. Promoting growth generally then equates directly back to a
companies self growth.
And ultimately, I don't care either, since other options will bridge the gap
and reap whatever associative benefits that may be appropriate at that time.
