P3D Re: Pulfrich and one-eyed depth perception

If any of you have access to the 11th edition of Encyclopedia 
Britannica (considered, with the fifth edition, to be one of the two 
greatest achievements in encyclopedia publication in history) 
(published just after the turn of the century, I believe,) look up 
"stereoscopy."  The entire multi-page article was written by C. 
Pulfrich himself, and is a gem of scientific explanation of the 
causes and principles of stereoscopy.  I can post extracts of it to 
the list if anyone is interested.
