****  That sounds good, but if it's a RED button, the stereo view is bowl
shaped..... Check it out by becoming very familiar with an images structure
in some other mode, like projected to a screen, or viewed on the computer
with LCS glasses. Then compare the RED button view taking notice of the
entire scene all the way to the edges. Be sure that in the projected
situation you examine the image from the ORTHO seat.

Take particular notice of the triangulation/depth effect. Since an image is
interpreted relative to itself, it may be easy to overlook the distortion,
especially if you use the RED button most of the time.

Some images may be easier to study for this distortion than others, so try
several. The distortion is there. Whether you can live with it or not is
another story and a subjective decision.
