Hi folks,
No, The Robe was not shot in 3-D. In fact the reason that it was produced in CinemaScope was as a direct competitor to both the 3-D films AND Cinerama, the latter being all the rage at the time. The Robe was billed as "the film you see WITHOUT glasses!"
