P3D Value of LCD Shutter Glasses

After several months I finally gave up on trying to make the 3d Spex by
Nuvision work that I purchased at the NSA '97 show. The company says they
will refund my money rather than help me work out the bugs.

My question: Will the glasses work on other systems, or would I be better
off just getting my $50 back?
