P3D New 3D book and more, and more...

Tonight I found a new book that I just had to buy to have for my kids. 

It is a science book full of many little projects to do, and many things
to experience. It is called "ZAP SCIENCE" (
http://www.dddesign.com/3dbydan/3dbooks/z.htm ) and it includes a whole
section on vision. There is a detailed explanation of free viewing, and
it includes a stereo pair and a stereogram to practice on. It also
includes a pair of anaglyph glasses and has a interesting selection of
ananglyph images to view. I recognized one David Burder one (at least)
and one from a book I own called "FLATLANDS" (
http://www.dddesign.com/3dbydan/3dbooks/f.htm ). It also has some
spinnable polarizers to help explain what they do to light. Very cool -
I can't wait until my kids are a bit older to go through this thing with
them!
