Hi all,

The 4th exchange views of the Amateur Photographic Exchange Club are now
on-line. Some are simply amazing - this is a very talented group, and I
am humbled to be a part of it. Between the 4 exchanges so far, there are
76 exchanged views and anaglyph versions of them available to view.
Amazing how quickly this club has grow!

In addition to the 4th exchange views, I have also updated and added to
the history sections about the first and second APEC clubs. There are
list of members, and sample views from each club. (3 from APEC I and 13
from APEC II) Neither set of sample views is of optimum quality for
reasons you can read about on those pages, but you can still see samples
of the work that those people produced. I found this entire section
fascinating to research, and hope you enjoy reading and seeing about it.

Also, I have re-scanned the APEC III 1st exchange views to improve their
quality and reduce their physical size to speed access to them. Even if
you have looked at these images before, you should again... =) AND -
Thanks to Bob Wier for suggesting that a next button would be a nice
feature as you browse through the images in each exchange. I have added
this to the APEC I views pages, the APEC II views pages and all 4 of the
APEC III views pages. Just bring up the first view, and hit the NEXT
button at the bottom to go directly to the next one in line.

Another new feature is a table that shows all who have been APEC III
members, what exchanges they participated in and if they submitted extra
views to other members along the way. (Those extra views are not
available to be seen on-line.)

In order to accommodate the growth of APEC III and it's web site, and to
try to make access as speedy as possible, I have had to change a few
things:

1 - Card back images and pages have been removed.
2 - Thumbnail images have been removed.
3 - Scanned image pairs are sometimes butted up together, and
trimmed to show only the images to reduce physical file size.

I hope this won't bother anyone, but if you are interested in seeing
what the original views look like on their cards, just follow the link
to JOIN APEC III and become an stereo print exchanger yourself! =)
