For those interested in such things, there is an article in the January
1998 issue of _Electronics World_ describing a press demonstration of
stereo color television that took place in December, 1941 by James Baird,
one of the many "fathers" of television.  The article includes a color
stereo pair photographed from the display device in 1941.
