P3D Super-8 stereo with Miida

Finally got around to trying a very unscientific test of the Miida beam
splitter on a super-8 camera. It worked well enough to fun, even though I
had no way of attaching it to the projector, and I had to hold it just
right to be able to see anything.  (I don't have the gizmo that it
supposedly came with to hold it in front of a projector.) Anyone else have
any experience doing this? I don't have a manual for the thing, (I'll have
to get one from reel-3d) so any tips are appreciated. 
(And if you think you get funny looks with a Realist, try walking down the
street with a Miida attached to a super8! I'd swear a couple of people
almost called the police..)
