Actually, I think it was supposed to be an Empire Strikes Back set.
(Inferred from the ESB card's (described below) back ... "NEW 3Di SERIES
COMING SUMMER '97!")

It was called "Star Wars 20th Anniversary Magazine", I think it came
out around mid 1997, after the base Star Wars 3D lentic set came out.
The mag is in a bag with 3 promo cards, 2 of which are 3D.

It's card number "2m", "Swoops and Rontos". Scene is the street on
Mos Eisley. (The Swoop is an air bike and the Ronto is the ridden beast.)

I had forgotten about the second 3D promo included with the magazine.
It's from The Empire Strikes Back. It's card number "P1". I'm not
sure it has a title; perhaps "Empire Strikes Back!". It's a shot
of Imperial AT-AT's attacking the Rebel base on Hoth. This is the
card that indicated another 3Di series (besides Star Wars).

Nope, it's not of the same numbering scheme.

>As I recall, neither was specifically labeled "promo".

Well, the ones from the mag were P1 and 2m, not exactly routine numbers.
