P3D History of 3D

Can someone direct me to a place to obtain a brief history of stereo 
photography? Nothing too invloved, just when the first photo was 
taken, the dates of various stereo periods, and few "big" names, etc.

I am hoping to do a workshop at the up coming National Caving 
Convention and would like to include some background. The convention 
just happens to be the Monday through Friday before the NSA 
Convention. The cave convention is in Sewanee, Tennessee which is 
about 500 miles from Richmond. So it looks like I will be leaving 
Sewanee after the banquet on Friday night and driving all night to 
get to Richmond by Saturday morning. I sure hope they are planning on 
reshowing all the things I will miss on Friday at Saturday's Stereo 
Theater.

Now that I am coming to the NSA Convention I would also be willing to 
do a workshop on mounting using the RBT - Spicer method. I never did 
a video like I mentioned in earlier posts, and there were a few 
people that were interested. Who should I talk to about this, or is 
it too early yet?
