>Why would someone prefer a Kodak over a Realist?

Good question! I have been puzzled over this myself. Here are some
explanations I have come up with:

 1. They like Kodak as a company.
 2. They think Kodak film will run better in a Kodak camera.
 3. They only have one hand (try using the Realist with one hand!)
 4. They prefer plastic and aluminum over steel.
 5. They don't like rangefinders or slow-shutter speeds.
 6. They prefer simplicity over reliability.
 7. They only take pictures in safe places.
 8. They don't like to be challenged.
 9. They prefer their pictures to be leveled.
10. They don't like the "frozen smile" look.
11. They are not font of accidental double-exposures.
12. They are into camera repairs or live across the street from Jess
    Powell.
