P3D Stereo Photo Books.

     Confession time:

I have a vague ambition to produce a book illustrated by stereo
     photographs.
(maybe I am not alone in this!?)

To a large extent the possibility depends on factors beyond my
control (e.g. whether the round-the-world balloon attempt which I
am documenting actually achieves something notable while I am
     looking).

     Advice Solicited:

However, just in case, I would like to collect any advice which
P3D folks can give, especially as to how to produce a book with
built-in-viewer (along the lines of Mark Blum's 'Beneath the Sea
     in 3D').
I have also considered a 'freeview' format (as in Tom Johnstone's
'Magic 3D'), anaglyph, lorgnette viewer ('Stereo Realist
Handbook').... and I don't have any examples of clever fold-out
mirror arrangements, but that might suit.

What I feel I know about is the technology, how to take the
photos, and how to write the text. What I would like advice on is
the merits of the different formats, resolution requirements for
printing digital material, and all other aspects of
     production/publishing, especially of a 3D subject.

     Thank you in advance,

     Jeremy
