P3D More books (Camera history).

Hi,

Anyone any information on a book that gives some background information on
50ties stereo camera's ? The Werner Weiser book is very exhaustive for as
far as technical details are concerned and the "Amazing 3D" book only
describes very briefly camera history. I would like to have more detailled
information about the history of several camera's and their creators.
There is a "Symmons" book. Is this what I should go for and is it still
available ?
