P3D Med. Format viewers: options?

Hi!

Thanks for reading my post!

I have this dream to create glorious, med. format slide stereo pairs with a
lashed-together pair of old Rolleicords. But how will I view the results? I
spoke to Brent Barclay about this, and he told me that one can buy what's
called a King 'n' View (sp?). And, if one isn't satisfied with the original
plastic lenses, one can ante up $500 for a pair of loupe lenses to replace
them. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Not that I'm
excited about the prospect of building a $600 viewer, but the thought of
full-frame med. format stereo is just dreamy! Does anyone out there have
any completely different solutions they'd care to share? How does this King
Viewer work? Does it accept mounted pairs, and if so, is there such a thing
as a Med. format RBT?

Or, if there are a limitations I should know about where med. format stereo
is concerned, I'd like to hear it. As I say, this is just a dream at this
point. If it's not feasible/practical, etc., I'd like to know now.

Thanks in advance for your opinions/advice. I appreciate it!

Lefty
