I respond:

Dr. T implies that because we don't have elected officers that we
are disorganized and therefore can't be a club and that the people
who come to our meetings aren't members. We have fixed meeting
dates, a computerized mailing list, and a bank account. How much
more organized do we need to be? We were organized enough to have
a table at a three day camera show that attracts 20,000 attendees.
We had to staff the table for 12 hours on a Friday, 10 hours on Saturday
and 8 hours on Sunday. We had two, three or four people at the table
for all of those 30 show hours, and we had a display of stereo cameras,
    viewers, slides and prints.
