Note that McKay did *not* say that it *became* ortho at any point, in
fact later on down in the quote it says something explicitely to that
effect. Even above he talks about approaching an approximation and then
goes on to explain the details of what he means by approximation.
People may argue how far away one can be and still be "approximate"
as opposed to being "in the neighborhood of" or "somewhat approximate"
or "kinda like" or "not terribly like", or "not really, but a little-bit
like", or other exact description categories of "near-ortho". But....
The point of my McKay quote was that the telephoto'd object can show depth
(related to the previous thread). Even if it's NOT true "ortho". :-)
