P3D JPS Gallery

Hi all,

Last night I added an extensive JPS gallery to my updated website. I'm still
adding finishing touches here and there, but the graphics are approaching
done. Most of the web pages themselves are set up for crossed viewing.
Patterns are available as either crossed or parallel. There are even a
couple anaglyphic patterns, with plans to add a few more.

Speaking of anaglyphic, it's interesting how looking through only the red
lens can provide a very good stereo experience. Because of noticing this, I
often pick up the glasses to check out an interesting picture even if they
shouldn't work. In the process I discovered that illusions of 3D can be
obtained with anaglyphic glasses under some conditions that are not actually
designed with L and R views. There is a page of anaglyphic illusions on the
site now. I'm curious if others have noticed anything similar?

Some time ago there was a discussion of Escher like illusions where I
mentioned having a stereo photograph that provides a small illusion because
of use of 3D. I found the image and have included it as a perspective illusion.

The JAVA applet that I have is now working. It's written by someone else but
uses a stereo photograph that I took. Other applets will be added as time
allows.
