P3D Vivitar HELP reactions

Thank you for so many reactions. A new aluminium foot without hotshoe
connection is out of question - for my second Vivitar I made one some years
ago out of some aluminium bars screwed together.  Cost nothing, and it
works.  Now I glued the plastic foot for the third time, this time with the
german UHU Plus Acrylit.  It seems to have solved my problem. I cross my
fingers and hold my breath.

By the way, what is Shutterbug?
And is there an adress on the Internet where I can buy photo materiel?
